Cubicle System NiUU wins Innovation award for architecture and building industry

Third award for NiUU design

Beside the two design awards red dot and iF, the cubicle system NiUU of Kemmlit has now also won the Innovation award for architecture and building industry. The desired award was given on January 10th at the international trade fair for the building industry.



The selection committee, consisting of famous architects, interior designers and engineers, awards special products and concepts in the building sector that offer both technical finesse and an architectural challenging design.



The cubicle system NiUU of KEMMLIT that was launched in July 2011 can fulfill all sectors: simple in design, clever in detail and innovative in its function. This successful concept does not only inspire the customers, but also the committee. The decision of the jury was the following:

„... Cubicle systems in washrooms are not really liked by many architects because of their often very pragmatical making and not really inspiring details. The Cubicle system of KEMMLIT is a positive exception with innovation potential. The system is carefully designed in all details, solidly built plus many other features. For example the design of the handle bar with integrated busy-lamp is innovative and practical. The wall system offers furthermore flexible opportunities for colour- and surface design, according to the architectural concept...“.
